How to make a Ford T custom
Tools needed
Koffee, sigarettes, Ironsaw, Grindingpaper, 2 componentglue
HobbyKnife, plasticprimer, Paint and a drill 3,5mm
A ford T truck and an old workmanstruck with cover
You start by cutting this part out
Then you cut the little buttons on the orange part
Then you drill a hole 3,5mm
If you drilled well you should be able to fix the trunk
Should give this as result
As the back of the orange trunk was lost
decided to use the back of the original Ford T
In the back you can see how I cut The brown trunk
The logo or prints I allways remove because they react with the paint we are going to use later
Cutting the Brown trunk : I first sawed the small sides, then went with a very sharp hobbyknife trough the coin of the long side, did this several times , then gently broke the part as shown in picture
Now we gonna make and glue the sides for the trunk
I cutted like on picture with a very sharp hobby knife
And we glue
now we need to prepare to paint , very important , degrease your parts
and if you can , sand them with very soft paper or use a plastic primer
I allways use solvent-based paints , They hold better on the plastic and are easier to clean up afther kids played with them ;)
and then we start spraying
Now we just need to wait for the paint to dry and we can reassemble
and here's the result :)
Thank you Saskia dear for the Coffee and the use of the garden ;)
